Unable to activate Pending Changes

Hi All,

I am using Checkmk Raw Edition 1.6.0p10 ( I know it needs to be updated, due to time constraint, will update soon).
Issue I am facing in Active Pending changes, not able to Activate them using “Activate Affected” and “Activated Selected” option, also selected “Activate changes of other users”, I see the error message below :

State: Failed. Started at: 14:57:02. Finished at: 14:57:06.
Failed: Error running automation call restart (exit code 1), error:

not all arguments converted during string formatting

Is there anyway to debug this further?

You can try it as a site User with

cmk -R --debug -vvv

When I ran that command, here what I got:

Any ideas what’s the issue with this?

Do you have changed any log settings in the global settings?
Could you reset log related settings to Default?

Hi @aeckstein , no logs setting was done. Is the setting usually done here as shown in the Ui below?
Shall I set all of them to Debug, or only the Automation Calls?

Hi @aeckstein , hope you had a good weekend !! Just wanted to check if the screenshot I provided where I can change the log setting? Sorry, I am kind of new here on CheckMK.

Changed log settings for all them to Debug, hit save. But still need to hit “Activate Affected” or “Activated Selected” to get these working. So, back to the main issue. Anyone can assist?

What you can do is create a new site on the same server with the same version and then compare the global settings values in ~/etc/checkmk/conf./wato/

Thank you @aeckstein, decided to upgrade the checkmk. Manage to get the Activation sorted. Thank you very much…
