Unable to render sidebar element in dashboard

Hello,

Im trying to add a sidebar element in dashboard but its not viewable fully. When i add in dashboard the view heading and a column is missing.

When I mouse over mine: circle with dots appear like in screenshot.
When I click the circle, the extra column appear / disappear.
