All the problems on the start of the thread where related to the setting “Hosts without system description OID”.
I saw a change in the behavior of some SNMP checks if this rule is used.
Check that this rule is not active for the problem printer.
Check with “cmk --debug -vvII printername” what happens here.
What SNMP version is used in your case?
