URL that links to an internal wiki

is it possible for a host e.g. add a URL that links to an internal wiki?

Yes it is possible

Go to -> Rule-Based Configuration of Host & Service Parameters -> Custom icons or actions for hosts in status GUI
There you can define an icon and url for hosts.

Strange.
How does the definition of your Icon/Action looks like.
For the defined URL you can select how it is opened. Don’t select “current content area” if you use HTTPS.

Then i don’t see why it should not work.
In my systems this is working without any problem.
It will only have a problem if you try to open in the same frameset as your monitoring site.

i dont know whats wrong, the icon appear but it is not possible to click on it

Looks like the wrong ruleset
(German “Symbolbild für Hosts in Status GUI”, English “Icon image for hosts in status GUI”). That’s really just for displaying an icon, no linked action.

You need “Custom icons or actions for hosts in status GUI”. Same WATO category, but different ruleset

That was why i requested the rule definition. Was now only the defined action not assigned correctly to the host?

Hey Andreas,
i have choose the wrong ruleset. i took “Icon image for hosts in status GUI” and not “Custom icons or actions for hosts in status GUI”.
