Use Azure Log Analytics as log source for alerts

Hey guys
we are about to build an Azure Virtual Desktop and use checkmk Cloud edition to monitor our Azure resources.

As lots of logs are beeing configured to be sent to Azure Log Analytics, is there a way i can use those logs as source for an alarm?

Let’s say the usage of a Hostpool is in that logs. I want to have an warning if there are less than 10% free sessionhosts.

I think the fastest way would be to query it via the Log Analytics API directly.
