Using new CheckMK grafana plugin without Label Format

Hello,

I currently try to migrate our 1.6.x CheckMK Grafana dashboards to use the new CheckMK Grafana Plugin version 2.0.1. As we all know the Label Format setting as of chapter 4.1. in Integrating Checkmk in Grafana was not implemented in the new version.

My current panel config looks like this:

As you can see I have multiple hosts with the same metric name. But I rename every metric with the hostname via $hostname.

If I now create a regex to rename the label in version 2.0.1 as suggested in chapter 4.2. it will rename the metric names of all to the same.

From my point it is not possible to rename the metric name for each one separately.

Is there another way to extract the host or hostname and use it in the Display name field of the panel in Grafana?
There you can use variables such as ${__series.name} or ${__field.name}.
