Using Ovirt plugin (DECOIT)

Hello Team,
Did anyone has an experience with monitoring Oracle KVM in cmk?
I’m trying to configure a KVM management(hypervisor) server using Ovirt plugin but i’m not sure what do in need to add in the parameters details.
On the Engine FQDN: i entered my KVM hypervisor machine name, i also added my KVM credentials but this rule is not working.

No KVM here, so I’m taking wild guesses.

Is this the ovirt extension from the checkmk exchange?
That’s written for 1.6, and might or might not work in 2.0. Which checkmk version and edition are you using?

The screenshot looks like a rule for the bakery deployment of the agent plugin. So did you deploy the agent? And then triggered a service discovery for the relevant hosts? Not sure if you also need some other rule to activate the plugin like a special agent.

btw: No “Team” here, just individual members of a community forum

Hi Martin,
Thanks for your reply and sorry for the delay response.
it took me a while to baked the agent… and still even after doing it on centos 7 i don’t see any Ovirt services like there was a problem with the agent bakery.
any suggestions from where i can download the plugin beside cmk exchange, I searched on GitHub and couldn’t find anything, maybe it’s not Ovirt - i need the oracle KVM for centOS.

So your question is more along the line of “how to monitor KVM in general”, right?
Sorry, I can’t help you there, since I’m currently not using KVM anywhere.

ovirt MKP works here with Oracle OLVM/KVM Version 4.3.
Deployed the Plugin on the OLVM Management Host, Settings:
Username: USER@internal
Password: xxx
Engine FQDN: HOSTNAME
Engine URL: https://HOSTNAME/ovirt-engine

checked the Login:
