I came accross your topic, and have the same “issue”, i have Cisco switches which are displaying Vlan and Vlan Type with no further configuration (automatically), but i have Extreme Network Switches, which are not displaying the same info using Hardware Inventory, i known i can get vlan info with SNMP on them…
Did you manage to get the info? or basically it only works for Cisco devices…?
Using checkmk 2.0.0.p32
