Web GUI nou accessible after fresh installation

just did a fresh install on an Ubuntu 21.04.3

Any idea where to start debugging?

Hi @toddehb and welcome to the checkmk community.

A good start to debug such a problem would be the web.log located inside ~site/var/log/.
Because checkmk is using the os shipped web server you can also take a look inside these log files if the creation of the forked web server has thrown an error.

Could you also please provide your exact checkmk version and edition? This could also help to find the issue.

Is your os shipped web server running? (mostly apache2)
systemctl status apache2.service

Its working now with opera. Must be a chrome issue, because the ostname was used before when trying zabbix

clearing the cache on the browser may help (could be done also via crtl F5)
