the new “Check HTTP web service” is missing an option from the old one. for example virtualhost support.

for example. we monitor 3 webservers, each host a copy of the same website and we loadbance access to that website. to be able to monitor that the 3 copies of that website work correctly we need to be able to use the virtualhost function of the old check which is missing from the new one

Hi, there is already a request to re-add the option to specify the physical host to connect to. Currently, the virtual host is always provided and the only option. We will add that as soon as possible.
