Windows Agent Plugin - Windows License " UNKN - Item not found in agent output"

Hi there,

we have deployed the Windows License Agent Plugin through Agent Bakery, this works on ~50% of our machines, the other 50% show
“UNKN - Item not found in agent output”

But when i check the diagnostics, the agent plugin seems to be present

Any ideas whats wrong and why cmk says UNKN?

Biggest error ever → installed the system with “Deutsch” :smiley:
The check only understands the English output and it very sure that the check will crash at

because there are non ASCII characters present.

Hm so the check is useless for us if it is not multilingual usable…sad

Es sollte kein Problem sein das Agent Script so zu modifizieren, dass aus dem Deutsch etwas Englisch wird. Macht glaube ich das DHCP Script zum Beispiel auch.

Server Installationen sollte nie nie Deutsch sein. Das sag ich jedem Admin immer wieder macht nur Probleme nicht nur bei so einfachen Sachen wie hier.

Hab grad mal in das Check-Plugin (von der 1.6.0p8) reingeguckt:
Das sucht nach einer Zeile, die mit Licence beginnt.
Wenn die nicht da ist, macht das Plugin garnix.
Es “schafft” es also nichtmal bis zu eventuellen Umlaut-Problemen.
Aber ich gebe dir Recht, @andreas-doehler, es dürfte nicht besonders schwer sein, das Check-Plugin entsprechend anzupassen.

Naja sehe ich ein wenig anders wenn ein produkt damit nicht klarkommt ist das produkt schlecht…windows ist seit version 7 multilingual und das umstellen wäre möglich aber nicht gewollt. Normal sortieren wir Produkte die damit Probleme haben aus :wink:

Nunja, schaue ich mal in den Check rein. Schön ist aber definitiv anders…
