Winter is here and are so many of amazing winter festivities! :snowflake:

And it is a month of amazing Christmas Markets here in Bavaria, where Checkmk is from

Nevertheless, the holidays do not stop us from improving monitoring!

Checkmk News

2.1 End of Life – New Year, New Checkmk Version!

We are stopping the support of Checkmk 2.1 with the very last patch release: [Release] Checkmk stable release 2.1.0p49

Please update your Checkmk version for secure and reliable monitoring – the newer versions also have great new features!

Here are the instructions to help you started with the update to 2.2: Update matrix for version 2.2.0

Updated Roadmap and 2.4 Release Plans

The Product team updated the Roadmap, so check it out to learn more about what is coming in the Checkmk 2.4! The Checkmk Roadmap: What's coming soon to Checkmk

On the other hand, we already have an estimated timetable for the release this year and it is approaching fast!

We expect the Beta testing to start sometime in March and we prepare to release in May – make sure you stay updated to join us in testing the new Checkmk first!

Mattias Schlenker’s talk at OSMC

Originally prepared to give one talk, Mattias captivated the audience with a presentation about the new HTTP check, which is fully Nagios-compatible. On the spot, he also delivered an impromptu ignite talk about CA.
