Hi,
I found this post from a while back: [Check_mk (english)] Brocade "no TX buffer credits" regarding the settings for “No TX buffer credits”. As in the post recommended, I set the threshold to 101% to disable the CRITICAL threshold.
To my surprise this value can go above 101%, but I am not able to increase the threshold, as “101” is the maximum setting for this rule.
Has anyone an idea how I can prevent this value to go CRITICAL (without hacking the original code).

Your switch has a real problem and i would try to solve it.
101% from my post is most times only relevant for ports with low traffic.
In your case i would first take a look at the graphs and there at the real numbers of noTX credits.
Hi Andreas,
thank you for your reply. I think too that the switch has a issue, but I am no expert in this matter. My storage/network colleagues tell me they don’t want to be notified about “no TX buffer credits”, but since this is a “subvalue” of the port check, I cannot disable the check as whole.
