Sorry if this is already answered somewhere, I scanned the Check_MK page and didn’t locate it.
We are combining multiple Nagios servers into a single Check_MK Raw server. We plan to purchase Check_MK Enterprise once the funds are allocated, unfortunately that will be after the mandatory go live date
for the project so we are having to start with the free version.
My question, once we purchase the Check_MK enterprise version, can we upgrade our free raw system in place?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike
If you are fairly sure you are getting the CEE version you can do what we did and get the CEE trial version right from the get go.
It's fully functional and worked well for us. We also went with the appliance version (VM) which also worked very well for us and allowed us to do fairly seamless HA between two instances.
No transition between trial and Live was needed whereas it looks like some work to go from CRE to CEE.
Just a thought.

Thanks to both. After looking through the demo version limitations 'about 5% of the check results randomly get the state "WARN".' will mean that it won't be feasible to use this version until funding is appropriated
Thanks for the link Marcel, it looks like that's what we'll have to do.
