Checkmk_agent with custom port 5666

Hi Team,

Is that possible to configure checkmk monitoring through other servers by using different port?

I have installed checmk server in one machine and installed agent in another machine. As some firewall restriction I need to use different port than 6556( which is default checkmk_agent’s port). I have changed into 5666 in /etc/xinet.d/checkmk.

Getting alert as :…
[agent] Empty output from agent at ******:5666(!!), Got no information from host, execution time 0.0 sec

Any one please help my issue.

Did you get a solution to this?

I have the latest 2.2 agent and I cannot find any configuration docs on how to change the agent port from the default 6556.

The only ref I found to the port is in a template file /etc/check_mk/xinetd-service-template.cfg
