I am new and I have installed check Mk in order to change and improve the supervision of my equipment. So I’d like to monitor whether my backup files are doing well. For the record, every day at 10pm, a job schedule occurs and places the files in a certain directory.

I saw that I needed to modify the fileinfo section in “check_mk.user.yml”. I did this by first trying it out with test files, as shown below :

Does the folder currently have a test.txt file? Discovery will only work, if at least one file is found. Otherwise you’ll need enforced services.
