Host present in View but not in WATO

Hi All,

I am trying to add a host in checkmk using web services. it shows success and the host is also got added after running add host, service discovery & active changes curl commands ( referred from Configuration via HTTP-API ). but host available in view, not in WATO and also after someday getting vanished atomatically from view too.

I see a similar issue raised in checkmk : Hosts in view but not in WATO

it got resolved after finding the server in a quick search but in my case, i am not finding a new host in the quick search.

let me know anything I am missing here.

You might want to try Configuration via the Checkmk REST-API.
Not addressing your immediate problem, but the REST API is the way to go for the future anyway.

Issue resolved now. I was adding host on site level so this is being overwritten by changes applied on master. After adding host directly on master able to see host.
