HW/SW Inventory in Distributed Monitoring

Hi, i am a put puzzled here - i have several sites in my Setup which all report normaly except one - giving no error inside the checkmk gui, but in the logs, you see the error shown above.

The Liveproxy Stae shows that everything is in order - except the Last Update of the Inventory, which never happened.

On the remote site everything is in order - HW/SW Inventory shows up and can be accessed

I’m not sure about 2.3 but in 2.1 we sometimes have similar behaviour: the HW/SW inventory of remote sites suddenly seems to have disappeared.

In our case

omd restart liveproxyd

on the central site (!) helped. See also this post: Inventory Issue on a remote site linux system

Hi,

after updating all sites & master instances to 2.3.0p6 the issue is resolved - HW/SW Inventory is accesible from the master instance - not sure thou if it was the update, or the restart of all instances.
