Your project is very popular here in Russia. Hope you can do it for Us.
We are using version 1.6 and are only planning to upgrade to 2.1. I wanted to use the language pack for Russia right away.

If you like to contribute to translation, I can look into the possibility of doing that.
Currently, there is no in-built language packages planned as far as I know.
Basically python gettext is used:

Colleague of mine worked a bit with localizations in checkmk. I will ask for more details.
