Windows Process notifiction

When I try to monitor one .exe file that is down or up using Process Discovery I can´t get it to send notificaction when down. Tried to set critical below 1 process but the process status shows all processes on server.

More information what I have tried already: Monitoring local applications that are not services - General - Checkmk Community

Hi.

For process monitoring it’s better to use enforce service “State and count of process”. If a process is not running you will get directly an alarm.

Hi,
Thanks for that! I have now set up the rule but how do I get it to trigger an notification? Now I see it as a Enforced service.

Can you share your process discovery rule? that sounds like you just gave a service name but no filter for the process, hence all processes match:

the “Process matching” option is often overlooked.

Hi,
Im not sure what to but in the process matching I have tried differnt things like name of the application and directory name c:.…\fil.exe. What should i but in for a regular exe file thats running?
