Customizing the Network Topology view

Hello,

in this thread I was looking for a way how to modify mouseOver tooltips in “Network Topology” view:

I found out that to reach that goal I have to manually edit this file on line 147:
~/lib/python/cmk/gui/plugins/views/node_visualization.py

As far as I am able to see, there is at the moment a possibility to do this simply in WATO.

Would it be possible change the code so, so that we can use custom views as parameters for dashlets?
Or to add an web interface where I can change the content of tooltip in “Network Topology”?

also another idea for the network Toplogy is to set the parents over the state of the CDP od LLDP informations:
