We are using smart PING and by that the expected behaviour is a missing graph on hovering the graph icon:
But we have other services like the graph of the Check_MK service or even some Hosts have an additional PING service (but with a large interval to avoid performance problems), so is it maybe possible to edit the hosts icons, so it shows the graph of a different service?
You could add a “custom icon and action” in the global settings that points to the graph page of the service you want to show. Then assign this custom icon and action to the hosts et voila, you have an icon where you can click and it shows you a graph.
Apart from the wish: I think it’s a “bug” that it does not show the graph of the CheckMK Agent in the host search results as this service has a graph (instead of other hosts with smart PING):
