How can I do a Service State Translate based on the Summary instead of the Service Name?
For Example, i have some printers and they give the summary “marker: xy” back - i will ignore these States, but i want the real errors:

I don’t have experience using it myself, but I believe you can send services with logs (and would assume alerts from printers then too) to the event console for further analysis with all kinds of rules.

I wanted to avoid events and snmp traps. I would like to think of a simpler solution like state translation.

What is your desired output? Do you have a lookup table what “marker: number” means and want to show it directly in service output?
